I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Glasgow in the Scool of Geographical and Earth Sciences. My current research focuses on ‘Creative Geovisualisation’, that is, investigating the possibilities for creativity afforded by geospatial media. I am interested in developing ‘Creative Geovisualisation’ as a technique that can be deployed within field-based projects to integrate data sets and produce spatialised narratives, and produce renderings of the field-site that factors the practice of observation and archiving as an embodied and situated process. I have a background in art and design, with an MA from Central Saint Martin’s college of Art and Design in Creative Practice for Narrative Environments.
